Education institutions are making technology decisions that increasingly affect teaching and institutional management at the same time. Future Learning Asia 2026 will bring education leaders and technology providers to Jakarta on December 4 and 5, creating a business-to-business forum for examining how AI and digital learning are influencing schools and higher education across the region.
The event combines an exhibition with conference programming and experiential formats. Its audience is expected to include decision-makers from international and private K-12 schools, including institutions following IB and Cambridge models. Universities and other higher education organizations will also participate, broadening the discussion from classroom technology to institutional partnerships.
Artificial intelligence will occupy a central place in the Future of Learning Conference. Discussions will examine its influence on teaching and assessment as institutions determine where emerging tools fit within established learning practices. The EdTech Forward stream will bring educators and technology specialists into conversations around digital learning and other emerging technologies, with case studies intended to connect new capabilities with practical education environments.
Leadership and student wellbeing provide another dimension to the program. Everyday Leadership is one of three stated conference themes, alongside EdTech Forward and Mind & Health in Education. That structure places technology adoption within the wider responsibilities of education leaders, rather than treating digital tools as an isolated institutional priority.
The exhibition will extend these discussions into technology selection. Planned areas include EdTech and digital learning solutions as well as information systems used by educational institutions. The Global Higher Education Hub will provide a dedicated setting for universities to connect with Indonesia’s education ecosystem, including potential academic and institutional partners.
Education Technology Insights is serving as a media partner because Future Learning Asia 2026 directly intersects with its coverage of digital learning, artificial intelligence and education technology implementation. The publication serves educators, administrators and technology leaders evaluating tools and strategies for digitally enabled learning environments. Editorial coverage can extend discussions beyond Jakarta by examining how institutions are applying emerging technologies and what those choices mean for teaching and learning.
Indonesia provides FLA 2026 with a setting for connecting regional education technology development with institutional decision-making. The event’s value will rest on how effectively its discussions connect AI and digital systems with the practical requirements of educators and academic leaders responsible for implementing them.
