In 1978, Claudia Anderson, the mother of the two boys, took it upon herself to design a classroom sound system that could help improve her kids’ learning situation. Little did she know, the sound amplification system she designed would not only enable her children to learn but help all students—even those with regular hearing—perform better in class.
What started as an effort to help her children learn became a game-changer in the educational setting. Teachers who used Claudia’s new sound system found that her revolutionary microphone solution helped boost student engagement and participation and decreased teachers’ vocal fatigue.
Motivated by the positive feedback, Claudia’s one-of-a-kind solution evolved into Audio Enhancement, a full-fledged classroom technology innovator that specializes in helping schools enhance the delivery of education in classrooms. Today, the company’s solution suite has kept up with changing needs with its range of classroom cameras, recording platforms, video conferencing applications, and two-way intercom facilities to connect classrooms across campuses.
“Our user-friendly solution is specifically built for educators by educators. We address the issue of teachers having to pivot their teaching style for a blended model that demands seamless integration of different interfaces. Using our VIEWpath platform, educators can come in and teach the curriculum while we provide the technological backbone,” says Tim Beekman Jr., National Sales Director, Audio Enhancement.
The company’s video interactive education window (VIEWpath) helps educators record, reflect, collaborate, and deliver lessons to students in the classroom or from a remote location. For instance, teachers have the flexibility to choose the classes they want to record and clip the parts they want to share with students. The selected clips can also be delivered to students through the learning management system (LMS) already in use.
“After deploying these systems, we make sure that the teachers are trained on how to use them,” says Dr. Melissa Jackson, Regional Education Development Specialist, Audio Enhancement. To help teachers leverage the benefits of the solution, the company has a customer success department with former educators that works with teachers to make their teaching experience positive and effective.![]()

“Our solution is focused entirely on K-12 schools. To that end, we pay a lot of attention to feature requests from educators and implement it in our products and platform. The relationship between clients remains an important factor in how we develop new solutions,” says Rebecca Rollman, marketing manager, Audio Enhancement.
Four decades down the line, the Anderson family continues to develop industry-leading products that maximize learning for every student. By leveraging the audio and video elements of a classroom, Audio Enhancement proves how learning can be more engaging and intuitive for learners while enabling teachers a more seamless teaching experience.

Description
Audio Enhancement innovates to create more effective schools through improving technology and the learning environment. Audio Enhancement is passionate about making classrooms more effective and giving every child the learning opportunities they deserve.
ANetD IP devices offer straightforward configuration capabilities through Audio Enhancement's EPIC System. With this setup, bell schedules, messages, visual messages, and emergency alerts can all be easily established using EPIC. In today's context, schools must be well-prepared for emergency events, ensuring they can deliver clear instructions and promptly involve first responders. ANetD IP displays are strategically installed throughout schools, effectively reaching large audiences. They utilize multi-color text, graphics, and flashers to capture the attention of students and staff, including those with hearing or visual impairments.
"Our IP displays have worked side-by-side with Audio Enhancement within classrooms around the country. It made sense for our companies to offer customers a fully integrated solution, leveraging each company's strengths. A teacher with an Audio Enhancement mic can easily trigger an alert that communicates through our displays or immediately initiates lockdown. This is a timesaver," said Abel Juarez, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ANetD.
Jeff Anderson, the President & CEO of Audio Enhancement, expressed, "For over 45 years, Audio Enhancement has been dedicated to enhancing the learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. In our pursuit of like-minded partners, we have found a great match in ANetD's IP endpoints and their team. Their offerings perfectly complement our EPIC platform, allowing us to deliver a fully integrated solution to the K-12 market, positively impacting educational outcomes on a daily basis. This partnership fills us with enthusiasm, and we eagerly anticipate supporting schools across the country."
