| | November - 20196EditorialIn the current modern age, technological inventions have greatly influenced the way education is perceived both by students and teachers. Classrooms are no longer constrained to four walls and seating desks with a writing board. Today, the concept of classroom teaching has become highly digitized, where schools and teachers adopt new teaching methods such as virtual education, student privacy, paperless textbooks, and augmented reality (AR). Undoubtedly, e-learning ignites a student's interest in the subject and enables teachers to put forth their tried and tested learning methods to instantly evaluate and assess the learning achieved by their students in the class. In this age of computers, the smart class has surfaced as a beneficial factor in teaching methods that appeal to both the audio and visual sense of the students and promote active learning where teachers and students are immensely involved in the teaching process. To ensure active participation in the teaching and learning process, schools are accommodating augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) within their curriculum to improve the possibilities of visual learning and overcome language barriers. Be it an audiobook or a visual trip, the adoption of smart classes in many educational premises is driving many students to comprehend subject topics without any complexity. But the advantages brought by smart class in the educational landscape are far more valuable in terms of online learning and social media influence.
